Mixing work about to start 19.07.2013
All guitar and keyboard parts have finally been recorded, and we're all happy how they turned out. And finally, mixing will start next week! Producer Mikko P. Mustonen will again handle the job at Pathos Music Studio.

New vocalist 31.10.2011
Michael Henneken is the new lead vocalist for Adamantra. Gifted with a personal voice paired with a powerful range, he's got that rare capability for both painting melodic landscapes, and rocking hard - he is the perfect fit for Adamantra.
Michael, being the former singer of the Finnish prog metal aristocrats Silent Voices, and currently performing frontman duties also for the band Sentiment, is no stranger to the job. Powered by his experience and talent, Adamantra is again moving full speed ahead!
"I am very happy for getting the chance to join such a brilliant band as Adamantra. The guys are really talented and that gives me a great opportunity to push my self musically forward as well. I will give my 110% for making the next album an amazing piece of work on my part and I'm looking forward doing live shows with the new material."

Adamantra and Tuomas Nieminen part ways - search for a new singer is on! 04.09.2011
An era has come to its end, as lead vocalist Tuomas Nieminen discontinues his duties in Adamantra.
Band leader, bass guitarist Jukka Hoffrén sums it up:
"Although feeling a bit blue now, we intend to look forward. This decision has not been easy, but we feel it to be the right one nonetheless. Since day one, Tuomas has trodden a long road with us - now our paths separate for a fresh start. Tuomas is up there with the very best of Finland's heavy metal vocalists, and we wish him nothing but the best in life and his musical journey. We are now hoping to swiftly discover a new vocalist, in order to wrap up the upcoming album."
Right now, it is time to turn a new page of Adamantra history with a new lead vocalist. That position is now open - everyone who feels himself worthy to fill Tuomas' formidable boots can apply. Three tracks from the upcoming Adamantra album can be heard at Mikseri. Sample audition material can be sent to band@adamantra.com.
Adamantra debut album 'Revival' was released in 2009, receiving considerable acclaim from the prog metal audience and critics alike. Led by producer Mikko P. Mustonen at Pathos Music Studio, the band is currently working on its next full-length release.

The annual FINNISH METAL AWARDS voting is once again open for public.
The fifth Finnish Metal Awards gala will reward the best in Finnish metal in conjunction with the Helsinki Metal Meeting, on February 20th, 2010.
The elite on Finnish metal artists will be awarded in seven different categories, and as it should be, the decision belongs the to the metal devouring public, Finnish and international. Complaining about the same bands winning everything every year helps nobody, so let the correct opinion be known and cast Your vote!

Please note: International voters don't need to understand the intro text, just fill in the blanks on the voting form, and PLEASE, as this is the FINNISH metal awards, only Finnish artists/bands and their achievements during the year 2009 are eligible in the voting.
