The songs of Adamantra combined with the next generation’s producer-guru Mikko P. Mustonen’s mixing wizardry would make a river flow upstream

The first single cut ”In Triumph” gave birth to first impressions of the warcry to be cast onto the centroids of melodic prog metal universe. The members have been sharpening their teeth in bands like Olympos Mons, Divercia, ToC and Bride Adorned, and this most surely does not surprise a listener overwhelmed with astonishment when paddling through the powerful scenes of misery and despair, the beautiful sonic landscapes and glimpses of historical themes.

The songs have started to evolve around the mutual understanding of what is the very essence of Adamantra – companionship, trust and brotherhood. These comrades have a common interest of incanting unspoken and forgotten atmospheric melodies and tales of old. Strengthening the interpretations are the featured guest musicians, former Adamantra axe-grinder Tommi Ahtila and keyboard-maestro Risto Kupiainen. Risto Kupiainen is a regular live keyboardist featured on the gigs, but is at the moment replaced by another haut-de-gamme virtuoso, Vili Ollila.

The album is released in May 20th by Sound Of Finland (Poison Pill) and the the record release party is planned for the 23rd of May in Gloria, Helsinki, alongside Amberian Dawn and Soulcage. Guns are blazing when Adamantra storms the venues celebrating the birth of their firstborn!
