A band who describe their music with an amount of overstatements to match a copy of the Oxford Dictionary of English, Adamantra prove that they also deliver the goods on their fierce live performances.

Long has there existed a notion, that a vast arsenal of production is the definite prerequisite for creating music of exceptional quality. Enter Adamantra, and this notion gets seriously challenged. Adamantra vocalist Tuomas Nieminen sheds light on the topic:

- Upon seeing daylight in 2005, the band started as a way of having fun and as an outlet for musical expression differing from the band members' other projects. But since the get-go, Adamantra started gathering a fan base possessing a much broader outlook and respect for the band and its work. Positive feedback and growing interest shown by media made us realize the situation ourselves, too. The release of an EP of three songs was followed by exposure and interviews on the metal media. Right now, the toils of recording a full length Adamantra album are nearing the end, and the band is ready to crash out of the gates guns blazing for live performances.

In the summer of 2007, the band locked themselves in the premises of D-Studio, with a grim oath of not coming out 'til the unearthing of that precious gemstone among metal records. Birth was given to a full length album from which the track "Shattered" is also present here.

All of the mixing work for the album has been done by Finland's new generation producer-guru, Mikko P. Mustonen, perhaps best known for his work with the Finnish act Northern Kings. Keyboard player Risto Kupiainen lent the aid of his wizard-like hands for laying down the keyboard tracks. The album is due for a 2008 release, through a record label which will be announced later on.
